Blades

The blades of larger grinders are so-called dosing blades, meaning that excess meat is returned through the blade wing opening, preventing the meat from being crushed and the meat juice from leaking out.
Smaller grinders have replaceable cutting inserts in their blades.

Perforated Plates
Perforated Plates
The properties of perforated plates vary depending on their intended use. The most common hole sizes in perforated plates are 3, 4, 6, 10, 13, 16, 18, 25, 30, and 50 mm.
Other hole sizes are also available upon request. The holes can also be conical, if necessary (e.g., in bone grinders).
