Knives

The knives of larger grinders are so-called dosing knives, meaning that excess meat is returned through the blade wing opening, preventing the meat from being crushed and the meat juice from leaking out.
Smaller grinders have replaceable cutting inserts in their knives.

Hole plates
The properties of hole plates vary depending on their intended use. The most common hole sizes in hole plates are 3, 4, 6, 10, 13, 16, 18, 25, 30, and 50 mm.
Other hole sizes are also available upon request. The holes can also be conical, if necessary (e.g., in bone grinders).
